Christopher Beattie

Before and during my university course I spent my free time using and learning Photoshop and editing photos.

Over the past four years studying my degree I've acquired a vast collection of skills. Throughout the course itself I learned programming in languages such as C/C++, C Sharp, Java, CUDA and others. The development of a piece of software was also prevalent on our course. This included prototyping, story boarding, UI/UX design and the actual development. During my free time on the course I acquire over a year of work experience working for two different companies. Whilst working for Deloitte, I focused on IoT prototyping with both mobile applications and the Arduino. For these applications I developed it from scratch designing the UI/UX and developing the actual application. At my time in Appt I was able to work on existing applications, whether it be testing the software, fixing bugs or creating new content. In addition, i acquire knowledge on website development, website management and content management.
