● Hackathon4Justice mentor- November 2019
Coached and mentored about 25 high school students participating in the Global
Hackathon4Justice held at the World Bank HQ in Washington DC on writing
code, presenting your ideas adequately and building technology that would work
for the SDG 17- maximum sustainable goals.
● Python tutor, Tech4Her Africa- July 2018 and March 2019
Successfully led a beginner's python class, during the 2018 Batch B and 2019
Batch A coding boot camps, of over 40 women, two of whom proceeded to be a
part of the MEST Incubator program.
PERSONAL PROJECTS
● Penguinja
- A classic endless runner game built for the web where the user must dodge
obstacles, collect rewards and compete for the top score on the worldwide
leaderboard.
- Built this using the amazing Phaser.io web game development framework and
learnt how to work with Resdb for client-server side communication.
● Color Picker
- A color picking tool that matches the color in the user's image to the hex code,
RGB code, colour family and the closest English name.
- Learnt how to manipulate data gotten from the user's mobile browser on HTML 5
Canvas.
SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
● Won Facebook and UNODC’s Hackathon4Justice. 2019.
Developed an app that could track and potentially save trafficked victims. Utilized
React framework for the front end of this project.
● Won AngelHack’s Lagos Hackathon. 2018.
Designed and built an app that connects students to information on campus
using NodeJS and IBM Watson.
