Colten Passey

Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege to work in a variety of industries, with different responsibilities, exposing me to multiple facets of how to grow a business. I started in digital sales and advertising, with both the responsibility of creating marketing content and growing my account base to $500k in sales. Following this position, I spent time working for two non - profits: The First Tee (Program Director), and Second Harvest Food Bank (Director of Business Development). The experience gained from these roles was priceless, as I was given the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many people. Whether it be creating programs and events for underprivileged youth in Northern California or working to raise millions of dollars in funding with individual donors and companies to help sustain enough food for 60,000 people a month.

While working for the food bank, I also worked as a marketing consultant on the side for private business owners in Silicon Valley. I would provide a full company audit, along with a presentation on the findings and a developed timeline of action items that need to be accomplished in order to obtain their goal. Depending on the size of the company, a full consultative solution can take anywhere from a week to a few months. Of course, the business goal and outcome play a pivotal role.

While my consultative position is ongoing, my recent role is a Territory Sales Manager, covering all the Bay Area for LED tech sales. For 2018, I was able to help our company hit a record year, grossing over $38 million in sales for the Bay Area.

I have a strong desire to succeed and help my colleagues and business partners do the same. I am extremely persistent and diligent. With a background in collegiate sports, I am willing to work as hard as possible to accomplish the goals set before me.
