Cris E. Pantaleon

I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism and worked as a Production assistant, Marketing Associate, and Broadcast Specialist in one of the leading higher education institution in my region. My task included writing articles; news, news-feature, feature, press releases, creative and content write ups. In addition, I also written script for our respective virtual pressers and talk-shows. I drafted communication letters and was also in charge in touching base with respective offices. Likewise, I proactively partake in conducting campus journalism in the different secondary schools and promoting the credo, vision and mission of the institution.

I equipped myself with the necessary set of skills in the corporate world; this includes the intrapersonal and interpersonal aspects, basic communication (verbal and written communication), basic familiarity with MS office tools. I was able to work with different people from across walks of life that have enriched my grass roots understanding of being a team player. Having the opportunity to provide the extra mile for the team; sharing your knowledge and pitch ideation that would best benefit the institution as a whole. This also entails tapping with the different team in a collaborative effort in ensuring the success of future projects.

The opportunity has also imparted a great chance to learn vast knowledge on the field of communication and the corporate world. I was able to progress and mature in the workplace and progress. This also further honed my relationship that has developed a sense of empathic and tactful connections with others as a whole in the community.

Through-out my experiences I have enriched my core values in providing excellence in my profession. As a responsible employee, I ensure to prioritize my work-life balance to further assure the quality of my task and be able to deliver my duties to the stakeholders and employers. This entails a professional and healthful communication link between my employers to assure we are building a conducive work-life balance environment for our growth. To achieve this, I do simple home-workout and eat healthful meals, and likewise, to ensure the quality of my thoughts I also see to it I get to read information from a book or the internet.

Due to the current global health crises, I have opted to the virtual platform of working remotely from the safety of my home. This is to ensure my family’s health and overall wellbeing while looking out for my own as well.
