At Observe Technologies, being the sole frontend developer I had the opportunity and freedom to work with a lot of new technologies on the frontend and on the backend, translating deigns to rich UI’s or improving designs to match the direction the product has to take. On the frontend I have an extensive experience using ES6 and 7 with async await, React.js paired with redux.js and Apollo GraphQL and on the backend, I’m very comfortable with Node.js. At Observe I had to build a private library of components that is shared by multiple products. I have primarily used styled-components among the multiple products that Observe has launched as the approach to styling for the ease of componentization, readability and preventing CSS bleeding. This role involves translating product designs to a pixel perfect representation in the browser. For this role I have worked closely with motion designers and graphic designers to assure the best quality in output. In order to bring products to life I have used a lot of animation techniques, motion design first thinking and technologies like React, styled-components and GSAP (Javascript animation library).
