GE trained and tested Six Sigma Black Belt.
While in roles from Green Belt to Black Belt, I managed varying projects affecting operations, financials, forecasting and programs throughout the division.
A few projects I'm most proud of are finding a mathematical error that solved a year over year forecasting overrun resulting to removing $45M planned spend from a 20 year contract.
I also defined the required fields for data manipulation to baseline and forecast major component wear based on historical data.
And, set up a daily, weekly and annual measurement to compare actual vs. expected.
Data gathering and manipulation through powerful tools is fun to create and watch!
I enjoy being involved in the data mining, setting up data collection automation and managing implementation based on project's outputs and day to day implementation.
