Dan Gakinya Mwaura

I completed my high school level in the year 2013 and acquired a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education. One year down the line afterwards, I went ahead and did basic computer packages and was issued with a certificate upon completing the course. In January 2016, I completed my driving classes and got issued with a valid East African driving licence. I also enrolled for a two weeks training in August of the same year on web research and got equipped on skills of digital literacy, good communication skills and work readiness. I graduated from the training with a certificate in web research.
Just to take a preview on my work experience, here are some of companies and organizations I have worked with.
July 2016 – Feb 2017; got employed at Samasource as a BPO agent. My responsibility was service delivery of client’s job description.
Jan 2016 - June 2016; worked as a cyber cafe attendant where I provided technical assistance to clients, record keeping of daily input and maintenance/servicing of computers.
Nov 2014 - Dec 2015;worked as a cohort in the National Youth Service where my responsibilities were to ensure general cleaning of the streets.
Dec 2013 - May 2014;worked as a sales person for JKUAT Nissin Noodles. My key roles were to supply the products to the clients and do record keeping.
In my line of duty I have gained the following experience:
1.Client relations and needs assessment.
2.Quick study with an ability to easily grasp and put application new ideas, concepts, methods and technologies.
3.Dedicated, innovative and self-motivated team player/builder.

I have been able to increase my skills on using Microsoft office and internet as time goes on. My strength focuses on using Ms Word, Ms Excel and Publisher. When it comes to using the internet, I have much skills on web research.

I am a writer and a blogger. I post different articles in my blog page based on the daily events that happen. With all the skills and experience gained, I am looking forward to being one of the top freelancers in my region and even beyond.
