I enjoy cinema (especially sci-fi) and reading (although, these days, it’s mainly therapy books). I once appeared as a cast extra in two made-for-TV sci-fi movies and have had my DNA shot into space on the back of a rocket. No, really, I have. With that, I feel I have achieved a mild form of immortality; especially if I am discovered by aliens and cloned. To combat all the ubiquitous drinking and socialising that usually get a mention in these CV things, I’m a regular gym-goer. I also cycle to most places within a reasonable distance, on fine days only. Not for health reasons, but because public transport is insane. I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Lara. She’s a rescue dog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Recently, I provided the voiceover narration to a 5-minute film screened at the BFI, which was fun. Finally, I was born in July 1968; I’m 47 and a Leo. There, that more or less sums me up.
