Daniel Ssendiwala

I have experience of more than 4 years in the field of Computing that I have attained while working for some of the leading companies in Uganda. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Makerere University, one of the best in Africa. I have also attained various certificates through enrolling in different online courses to enhance my skills in the field of computing. In a previous position at the Makerere AI lab where I spent 2 years, I was part of a team that collected, cleaned, and processed data that was fed into a system that was trained to diagnose crop diseases. This system was later rolled out as a smartphone application called adsurv, available on the google play store. While at the Makerere AI lab, I also contributed to the development and maintenance of the lab's website (www.air.ug). In my current position at Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, I collect, process, perform quality control and distribute aeronautic data and information, as well as perform data integrity, monitoring and assurance. These roles have given me vast experience in dealing with data in small and huge amounts. Throughout my career journey, I have also acquired a passion for graphics and I have designed various social media posts for a Healthline blog (www.marieshealthline.com) and also started a YouTube channel called Enyimba Za Mukama that provides lyrics for church hymns for my native language (Luganda). I am very fluent in English, Swahili, and Luganda languages and I am also very passionate about everything that I do.
