David Humphreys

I am a Canadian freelancer, currently living in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I worked for 15 years as an electrician and specialized a lot in home automation and lighting control systems, so I have a lot of technical and troubleshooting knowledge when it comes to software, networks, etc. I have always been very quick to pick up different systems and technologies. In my role as an electrician, part of my job was direct contact with customers and other trades that we were working and coordinating with, so I gained a lot of customer service experience in that role. I also ran my own Shopify store, which gave me even more customer service experience in an online setting.

I began doing freelance work about 5 years ago. I have done work with Shopify, Wordpress, graphic design mainly with Illustrator and Photoshop, Facebook Ads, SEO, Google Analytics, etc. I now mainly focus my freelance work on WordPress web design and Facebook Ads. I would like to continue finding more WordPress jobs but I am also very interested in finding a more permanent and consistent remote job in the area of web design, customer service, Facebook Ads, or any other related field.
