Hello,

My name is Davor. I'm 31 years old and a self-employed WordPress Full-stack Developer and Front-end Developer. I've been working with web technologies for seven years, and 80% of my projects are developing custom themes and custom solutions for my clients. I worked in two IT companies before I opened my own business. Now I'm providing my services to foreign and domestic clients.

My skill set: PHP, JS ( vanilla, ES6, jQuery ), CSS ( CSS3, SASS, SCSS ), HTML ( HTML5 ), MySQL, Git, Webpack, WordPress, WooCommerce. In my spare time, I work on my internal projects with WordPress API and Next.js, as well as other setups with Directus, Strapi, Sage. I have also worked with Laravel, Symphony, React.js, Vue.js and Next.js, trying to extend my skills in the web tech stack.

One of the most complex projects I have worked so far: VIP Nightlife ( https://vipnightlife.com/ )

The client wanted to have a massive website with many different locations ( cities ). Each site would have its own events, and users would be able to buy tickets to those events via the website URL to the external ticket-buying platform. Events are listed via the Eventbrite service.

I was the dedicated developer on this project. Working both back-end and front-end parts of the website ( I also had a senior back-end developer for some complex stuff ). Countless functionalities with WordPress, ACF, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Git, Eventbrite API implementation, forms, security, SEO, structured data.

This is a massive multisite website with three child themes one main theme, and a lot of mu-plugins code.

This project uses Eventbrite API to load all the events. The critical part here is having more than 50 sub-sites, we had to find a way to filter those events, and we did. It was a great experience to develop such a site where a lot of people are visiting, searching for the right event.

We continue to upgrade the site with new functionalities and upgrades. Also, maintaining it to keep it fast and easy to navigate. Client feedback is essential to us.
