I’m a copywriter, content creator and digital marketing strategist with a passion
for creating conversion-focused copy & content that stand out in the
cacophony of bland marketing online. Debunking buyer psychology and testing
marketing methods are some of my favorite things to do. My work is fueled by

These experiences have given me a unique perspective on marketing as
a whole, and I bring lessons from each job to the next project I work on.

1. Analyzed and improved the copy of a Facebook Ad campaign that
went on to help a client in the Subscription Box niche acquire email
addresses at just $0.36c per email.
2. Wrote an email sequence that garnered a client in the Social Media
Management Services niche an average open rate of 82.35%, a click
through rate of 47.02%, and a conversion rate of 15%
3. Created a content marketing strategy for a client in the Website
Development niche, and created blog posts that generated new leads
when paired with an aggressive Facebook Ad strategy.
4. Wrote email outreach campaigns for a high ticket conference in the
Financial Services niche, which got C-level decision makers to attend a
specialty five figure conference.
5. Spearheaded a cold email campaign for a client in the Online
Marketing niche that got a 90% open rate, 60% response rate and 20%
conversion rate.

I produced White Label SEO content based on client specifications and
stringent internal guidelines. I worked with the editor to create creative
blog posts that fit into each client’s content marketing strategy, ranging

systemize my writing and have a stellar end product quicker than most

2. Versatility is an understatement, since I had to learn new topics every
day to write blog posts that hit the mark in niches like gardening, web

construction to name a few.
3. Working on a remote team under the direct management of an editor
trained me to on how to work skillfully and thoughtfully, creating an

I was an in-house content marketer with a focus on business development
at a fast paced startup. I reported directly to the CEO, and received my
assignments from her, often with short deadlines. Aggressive selfimprovement was expected, considering that each project was more
challenging than the last.
Accomplishments
1. Spearheaded the creation of both proposals and grants that garnered
significant opportunities for the company.
2. Ghostwrote multiple eBooks including one for people battling cancer, a
tribute to the CEO’s triumph over ovarian cancer.
3. Completed an in-depth email marketing course from John Carlton, and
implemented strategies and techniques learned to reach the company’s
email list more effectively.

As a truly Jamaican brand, I had to immerse myself in GraceKennedy to
fulfill this role. I developed content that preserved the brand's voice,
adhered to their brand guidelines, while adding an insightful flair that
positioned GK as a thought leader in their niche.

Wrote investigative and expository pieces on my culture and how it
influenced my view of the world, as well as the world’s view of me. I
worked closely with an editor who gave me creative direction and
guidance. I also connected with other young people worldwide,
broadening my worldview and allowing me to experience working on a
multinational remote team.
