I started by working for five years in a high-paced print shop design studio, where I learned the printing process in depth, and as soon as web design became a reality I started doing it mostly for remote customers, including the Government of Australia, European Commission, a lot of agencies and firms in various businesses all over the world. The first website I designed and developed was in 2000 for https://www.chapmanbdsp.com/, (then called BDSP Partnership) a highly sought-after construction consultancy in London, which resulted in many years of collaboration, when I did all the design and development for them, including technical book design, marketing material design, video production, web development. Most of the work was done remotely, although I also traveled to London for meetings.
I do many different types of work, which may seem like an obstacle to becoming really good in any one area, however, my opinion is that all these different technologies have a common name: digital design; so basically it is that one thing that I have been doing all this time. I consider it a bonus being able to do the development (React, React Native, SASS, PHP…).
