WordPress is my preferred platform, having been using it since version 1.5 or so. It can be customized to suit a different kinds of needs, and during the years I have learned to master its ins and outs. In fact, I have used WordPress for both clients' and my personal needs to run database sites, membership programs, portfolios, complex blogs and more.

Sometimes, I would recommend a client to buy some plugin and sometimes, when that makes sense - I would develop it myself. And the same goes for themes, though I prefer not to start from a clean sheet. It kinda makes sense to solve the client's problem/need faster.

In any case, as your "web guy" -- presuming we "click" -- I would give my best to serve you as best as I can. I'd like to think that I'm responsive, responsible and fast; thus, my hourly rate may be higher than what other folks may be offering, but I make sure to deliver. Every. Single. Time.

Ultimately, when you succeed I succeed as well.
