Letter of recommendation for Elizabeth Lombardo
By this letter, I certify that Elizabeth Lombardo (born on 5 August 1984) has been working as creative
designer for the project Young Impact Innovators Award feat. the Plastic Revolution.
The Plastic Revolution is a project initiated by the Institute for Art and Innovation. It supports young
changemakers to develop and accelerate solution ideas to end the growing plastic epidemic. A program
of online events such as workshops, makeathon and panels help tomorrow’s leaders to ideate, co-create,
and collaborate. 50+ mentors and experts share their expertise to foster knowledge and thus ensure that
ideas are prototyped, tested, and developed into their most effective iteration. The project is kindly
supported by amazing partners and organizations such as the Albrecht von Dewitz Foundation, and the
Press and Information Office of the Federal Government of Germany.
Ms. Lombardo joined our project from 1 June 2020 until 20 October 2020. She was mainly part of the
communication and design team. She contributed graphic design tasks including logo design, social
media posts, and various online promotional graphics. She was responsible for the liaison with the
community team to support social media strategies and communication. As a very valued team member
she always made sure that the teams reached their goals regarding the community outeach as well as
social media management via the online platform Later.
We appreciated Ms. Lombardo’s continuous engagement, constant focused attention to details and her
excellent communication and design skills. This successful collaboration led us to achieve the best
recognition from our participants as well as from our partner network.
It was a great pleasure to work with Ms. Lombardo She showed a tremendous ability to work
independently as well as the capacity to coordinate diverse tasks and overcome the challenge of crosssectoral communication with the different project teams. Her determination and capacity to take on
responsibility enabled her to accomplish her tasks, and facilitate the successful realisation of the project.
I give her my highest recommendation and I testify that she would be a great asset for your organisation.
We wish her all the best for her future.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance. I can be reached through phone
