I have nine cumulative years of experience with Abuja Electricity Distribution Company as an ICT Security Engineer, Computer Warehouse Group as a Cisco Specialist and Arachnet Systems limited and DAAR communications PLC as a Network administrator.

As part of the ICT Security Team in Abuja Electric distribution company (AEDC). I was responsible for the deployment and management of Check Point NGTX Firewall for our three Data Centers in involved the monitoring of network traffic, creation of rules for the firewall blade. I handled the investigation of TOR (The Onion Router) users. I worked external vendors on penetration testing for the corporate network infrastructure. I am responsible for the hardening of over 60 servers (Windows and Linux) and Cisco Networking Devices using Ansible and GIT for configuration management and version control. I deployed and manage the Security Incident and Event Management platform. I am currently optimizing the SOC for AEDC. I have worked with the application team on application deployment, integrating Ansible with Jenkins, deployed a webserver running apache in a docker container.

As part of the Network Team with Computer Warehouse Group, i handle configuration and deployment of Cisco, Checkpoint, Huawei and Cyberoam appliances for various organizations. I was part of the team that redesigned the network for Emoz Pharmaceutical, Managed the Networks of Abraaj Group and Actis. I was part of the Team that deployed the Cisco Identity Service Engine for Etisalat Nigeria. I deployed and managed Cisco Iron Port Web/Email security appliances (SMA, WSA, and ESA) for Etisalat Nigeria.

During my time at Arachnet, I was responsible for redesigning the corporate network infrastructure. I initiated and managed the Server hardening project. I also implemented the mobile connectivity project which allowed for employees to connect from home.

While at DAAR communications I was part of the project that designed and implemented the nationwide ICT upgrade, my role as team lead network infrastructure. I also have experience managing a tier 2 data Center for DAAR communication plc. 

I have finished professional training for the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and the COBIT 5 certifications. I have experiences in maintaining, troubleshooting both system and Network issues, I have managed Microsoft windows active directory(2008), I have experience Ubuntu Linux.I have work the Cisco ASDM for the Cisco ASA and Cisco configuration Manager for network-wide management.

I am a Cisco Certified Security Professional, a Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIA Security+ and Information System Security Professional and I have passed the required exam for the CCIE Security Lab Exam, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Political science from Kogi State University.
