I worked as a clerk for 2 years for a government agency. My main task is to create and maintain office documents. This includes updating records of supplies that was purchased and distributed to every department of the agency.

Then, I worked as a customer service specialist for an international call center company, dealing with a US-based client. I was initially hired as an inbound representative. After 6 months, I was laterally promoted to email support. I was part of the team that handles general inquiries like questions about payment methods and request for account information updates.

After a year, I had special training and included in the team that handles bill disputes. This involves explaining to customers via email the charges on their bill.

After another year, I had special training once again and was included in the team that handles equipment concerns. This involves answering emails from customers who have questions about the software updates or new equipment they are seeing on advertisements. I have also handled emails about equipment failures, where we provide troubleshooting steps and schedule technician visits if necessary. The team have also been assigned to process orders of new and replacement equipment. We have been tasked to monitor our performance, where I used MS Excel to make sure I am right on track.

In 2012, I had to quit my job to take care of my eldest (then 1 year old), while 5 months pregnant with my second child. I have been a full-time mom since then.

I started looking for online work in May of 2017. By June, someone sent me a job invitation here in Hubstaff and the rest is history.
