Gianne Camille Tongol

Hi! I am Gianne Camille Tongol and I am currently employed at Petron Corporation here in the Philippines as Operations Accountant under Operations Internal Controls group.

Some of my jobs are monitoring and coordinating our payables and receivables to different group and companies involve to make sure that we are align. I also do standardization of work procedure and operations internal control review to check if Petron Terminals are operating based on the standard procedure. I also

submit government reports on a weekly,

monthly and quarterly basis.

Under our group, we also help other personnel with their concerns specifically on controls issues. We also coordinate their issues and concerns to respective group and will do our best to resolve it by issuing memorandum of operations guidelines.

Prior to my current position, I was a general clerk in one of the Terminals where I do dispatching (January 2016 to June 2016) where we deliver products to different Terminals/customers and making sure that they will have enough supply to serve the requirements of our consumer. After being a

dispatcher, I was transferred to inventory accounting, where I do inventory reconciliation. In that position, I make sure that there are no product loss or pilferage involve. I also ensure that the data entered on our system is correct and complete because everything should be accounted for.

For the year 2016 until today, I experience a lot of lessons not just about work but also on how to talk and converse with people. We are dealing with different people almost everyday, we have learn on how to approach each and every one to avoid conflict or misunderstanding.
