About

I am a young adult who's been exposed to an industry that requires exceptional talent. At a very young age, I was endorsed to become a personal secretary of a manager in a small corporation here in our province named Rural Bank of Pasacao, Inc. I sorted his legal papers, schedules and even made some minutes of meetings.

After a few months I was introduced to Golden Ace Resources Inc. the wholesaler of Cebu Pacific here in Bicol Region. My manager was one of the shareholders of the said company. At first I thought that it's gonna be a part time summer job. I was in Senior High during that time and when I was about to enter college, I was asked if I would like to continue working with them during my free time such as weekends, holidays, sembreaks, and summer breaks. For almost three years I became a part time booking agent. The course of my work was to assist walk-in and over the phone passengers, and even lend a hand to our sub agents since we are the wholesaler here in our region and we have 13 sub agents during those times. Aside from the original work responsibility assigned to me, I was able to do some accounting related stuff. I extracted daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual sales both from our company itself and sales of our sub agents. This started when my colleague who was supposed to be doing this accounting stuff got pregnant and wasn’t able to be present in our work religiously due to personal and health matters. But that does not mean that Golden Ace should be impacted, so I took the initiative to learn the process and later on I was the one doing the extractions of sales. I will send it to my colleague to double check the work and while resting or in a hospital, she will check it and formally relay the information to our bosses and sub agents. But even after she got delivered her baby my colleague and bosses allowed me to support and perform extraction of sales to make the replenish of money easier and always on time. Everything was great. However, there was a time I was forced to make the hard decision where I will have to prioritize either my education or work. Way back at school, I had multiple laboratory programs that I needed to attend to and so I had to let go of my job as a travel agent. But this decision was supported by both my family and colleagues and bosses. And later on, a pandemic happened, so even if my required laboratory hours subsided, I could no longer come back because my bosses had to make budget cuts to sustain the company. This is where I decided to enter a BPO company.

I was able to be accepted in the most prestigious BPO company that we have here in Naga City which is Quantrics Enterprises, Inc. I got into the line of business of a telecommunication company based in Canada, where we assist Canadian citizens regarding their queries about their bills, plans, connections, promotional stuff, and a little bit of technical stuff. During training I was awarded as Blueprint Infinite (BPI) ambassador. This BPI is a tool that we use to assist our customers in a uniform and accurate manner. I was the first one to use the tool precisely and exceptional work. I was already recognized as a Fizzback Champion. The Fizzback is a metric that is measured based on the surveys of our customers - whether they are satisfied or not. Good thing for a consecutive three months I had the highest rating in our Fizzback metric. In addition, in just 5 months I was chosen to become a mentor for the new recruits. I was able to mentor 6 new waves in the program and I am pleased that those whom I’ve mentored are now doing great in the field of call center. The reason why I decided to quit my job is because of a personal matter. My mother needed extra attention because of her kidney problem and since I am the eldest and my parents are separated it is my responsibility to take good care of my mother especially when she needs me the most. And even if I want to stay in the company I do not want to put my teammates and my team leader down because in the BPO industry, we work as one and I don’t want my shortcomings to become the reason why they cannot grow, excel, and have their hard work unseen and unrecognized.

Ergo, right now I can say that I am hundred percent ready to be at work and become a factor for the success of the company that I will be working on.
