Training and Couching: Mastered the Ajira Program curriculum across the 5 major categories that is Content Writing, Digital Marketing, Data Management, Virtual Assistant, and Transcription; and used lesson planning tools such as Google Classrooms and Zoom to schedule and conduct quality training sessions both physical and Virtual within the TVETS, Universities and Ajira Youth Empowerment Centers and ensuring an 80% completion rate for registered Youth undertaking the Training. Has been part of the super trainers assigned to coach new trainers and Trainers of Trainers(ToTs). Mentorship: As part of the Ajira program, mentorship plays an important role in handholding trainees after the training is done. Executing my duties as a trainer I have mentored close to 200 youths who have proceeded to active earning from the Gig and freelance economy most of them earning as online tutors and writers in platforms such as Upwork, Guru, and HelloExperts. Curriculum Development: Developed curricula and course syllabus covering required subject areas and promoting student knowledge used in Ajira Digital training that covers a diversified trainees needs to suit all the categories. Planning and Researching on Training scope accordingly and understanding the audience needs during Training and developing relatable examples and case study material for use to make classes useful and exciting. Community Engagement: Organized at least 3 physical trainings monthly within the Mombasa county Ajira community through the collaboration of different youth communities such as youth groups, churches, politicians, community hubs, social organizations and institutions with a minimum of 200 trained youths monthly through pitches, activations or exhibitions of the Ajira Program. Trainee Assessment: Assessing objectively, against pre-set criteria such as Kahoot and google classroom assignments, the ability levels of the learners as appropriate and overseeing the learners in performing practical activities related to Online work, advising and assisting where necessary, and ensuring that maximum learning benefit is gained from the practical experience. Trainee management: Managed Trainee register through Zoom attendance registers marking, polls setup and reporting to ensure good attendance tracking and providing daily reports on each Training session by marking attendance with number of participants, gender, venue, providing pictures, and Training testimonials from participants. Leadership: My core achievements under the program has being appointed as the team lead for the Content Writing category as the lead Trainer managing the affairs of 11 trainers under this category. As a leader I work closely with the Program management team to deliver quality training both physically and virtually while running all the organization and quality check within my team. 04/-/2020 MoICT ICTA/Security Junior Network Security Engineer Researched, managed, and implemented security protection technologies: Such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), data encryption, Biometrics, etc., to mitigate systems security vulnerabilities discovered as part of ICTA criteria evaluations. Drafted and tested Systems Security Authorization Agreements (SSAA), Certification Test & Evaluation Plans and Procedures (CT&E), and Security Test & Evaluation Plans and Procedures (ST&E) for strategic ICTA systems and Network. Conducted security vulnerability assessments: These included Patch Analysis, Port Analysis, Malicious Code Analysis, and CERT Vulnerability Analysis, and documented the results in Certification Reports, Residual Risk Assessment Reports, User Security Policy Manuals, and Standing Operating Procedures using tools such as Wireshark. Made recommendations: to the ICTA security department how to mitigate the remaining residual risks by implementing various information security technologies, such as Biometrics, IDSs, Firewalls, Tier Network Infrastructures, and advanced auditing technologies, as well as exploitation of emerging IPv6 advanced authentication and data security capabilities. Developed cyber capabilities cloud catalog: Using industry-standard tools including: HP ArcSight, AlienVault, HP Fortify, Metasploit Pro, Kali, BackTrack, Nessus, Nagios, Snort, Santoku, Zero Wine. Routinely conduct penetration testing: Using Kali Linux MetaSpoilt tool carried out vulnerability assessment on the core Cisco switches and Routers routinely as required by ICTA cybersecurity policy.
