A data junkie, with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and a completed Master Program in Marketing Analysis and Strategy.

For almost 9 years now I have been a Data Analyst for 2 important multinational companies, GfK and Conduent (formerly Xerox Services). For the last 5 years I have been working on my SQL, Excel and VBA skills as a data migration specialist. I am an expert at performing data manipulations and validations, developing functions, procedures and other automation tools, as well as creating database mapping documentation. Expert knowledge of MS Access and MS SQL Server.

I also have experience as a Statistical Data Analyst for GfK, a multinational market research company, for which I handled various responsibilities, such as data reading, data preparation, bivariate and multivariate statistical procedures and standard statistical tests. While there, most of the statistical software I worked with was developed for GfK specifically, but I could acquire a good knowledge of IBM SPSS as well. I also had a few opportunities of working in SAS.

Apart from my data analysis and manipulation skills, I have extensive experience with creating reports, assisting in the planning and specification phases of the projects, documenting data implementation processes and creating implementation standards. I work very well with people from other departments, being a liaison between project managers and my own team members.

One of the best parts of my jobs has always been that I worked within a distributed team, with some of my colleagues and manager being in another country (first Italy, now the UK). The means of communication between us (telephone, email, Skype, video conferencing) have been more than enough so that the interaction and sense of belonging to the team felt great.
