Hello, I am Jacob Hyde, an information technology specialist and engineering expert, specializing in full stack and software development, data warehousing & analytics, web content development, performance & scalability optimization, API design, and project management. Currently, I collaborate with a team of frontend and backend web developers to ensure the highest quality of product and service, test and retest results, and provide quality assurance controls. I have designed dozens of websites comprised of complex design features and interactive web pages, utilizing a variety of software applications, techniques, and tools--the more challenging the project, the more appealing it is. As complex as some projects are, my job is to make them appear effortless, easy to navigate, and user-friendly for those who aren’t especially tech savvy. My most comprehensive project, to date, involved the design and development of a website for healthcare quality assurance and process improvement. Therefore, I am proficient at working with healthcare entities, and knowledgeable about HIPAA, HL7, MDS, EHR/EMR systems, and medical terminology. I believe in excellence, and I expect it from my team. The only way to achieve that is to listen to the customer—talk less and listen more.
