Jade Wentzel

During my experience in the workforce, I have been exposed to the many challenges that dealing with several different environments presents. Through this I have developed the necessary hands on skills and competencies to communicate in a professional manner, keep organized and on track always, as well as front of house exposure in dealing with a variety of different clienteles. Utilizing these skills I have been able to assert my role as a designer and completing all my tasks in an orderly and timely manner.

Born in Cape Town, Dubai was home for 15 years, of which my parents still currently call home. I was fortunate enough to watch Dubai develop over this time, into what it is today: a place of Architectural and Design inspiration, wherever you look. My experience working as an Interior Designer has helped me to develop my communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to reach the targets handed to me on a daily basis. I have been responsible for generating numerous budgets for Clients on small scale and large scale projects. I take great pride in this aspect of my work as it is challenging yet highly rewarding. This has taught me that customer interaction and service delivery is of the utmost importance if a business is to retain their clientele base and to attract more potential clients.

I excel in a creative environment, enjoy vibrant interaction and I am willing to go the extra mile to ensure the high standard of work ethic is met, of which I believe is incredibly important. I am target and goal driven and strive towards exceeding any target presented to me, as well as working towards personal achievements. I am self-motivated and approach any challenge logically. I consider job satisfaction, integrity and loyalty of utmost importance.

I enjoy the challenges and rewards from my work environment, but also place a high value on living a balanced lifestyle, which I ensure by spending my leisure time either with friends and family, horseback riding, hiking, travelling or expanding my knowledge on various points of interest. Alongside this I have also been actively involved with volunteering at schools for special needs kids and I find great satisfaction in being able to help people. I am a keen sportswoman and have had many achievements in various sports, such as placing in the top three for various show jumping events in horse riding in Dubai, as well as here in South Africa.
