PROFILE
I am a hard-working, conscientious person who is looking to develop further in a new,
challenging area. I am highly organised, a quick and keen learner, with extensive
experience in website systems and admin. I am very computer literate with knowledge
and experience in Microsoft and Apple software and ecommerce, and I am proficient in
design software such as Photoshop and InDesign.
I am currently based in Lincolnshire but I am keen to move and branch out with a fresh
start in a role that I can excel in and progress with.
EXPERIENCE
Ecommerce Specialist at Ellis Mather Group & Magnet Expert (Jan 2020-present) Tuxford
● I am involved in all aspects of the marketing strategy but with a specific focus on
managing the two websites, magnetexpert.com and first4magnets.com, under the
Ellis Mather Group.
● My daily role involves managing product data across our omni-channel system,
including Amazon and eBay, as well as reporting back analytics to our sales and
marketing teams.
● I am the first point of contact for all website-related issues.
● I have only been in the role a short time but I feel that this job has not been the step
up in terms of responsibilities that I had been led to believe when applying. I am also
looking to move into a sector more befitting my interests, either in sport, music,
online marketing or technology.
Marketing & Website Co-ordinator at GPC Industries (March 2016-Dec 2019)
Spilsby
● I am involved in all aspects of the marketing strategy but with a specific focus on
managing the 30+ distributors who use our website system, as well as overseeing the
company website.
● I am the direct contact for our website customers and our website developers. I
oversee the day to day operations of a group of websites in an admin and ecommerce
role, assisting with the production and distribution of digital marketing assets such as
videos, blogs, information graphics and other imagery.
● I manage the product data and information, design sales banners and help to plan
promotions.
● I undertake a large amount of reporting using software such as Microsoft Access and
Excel, producing data for our Directors and management team on our website and
catalogue sales.
● I play a large role in our email marketing, planning promotions and designing
templates.
● I am also the first contact for my colleagues in helping with the current IT situation,
offering support and technical assistance to other staff members and solving
problems relating to technology.
Office Assistant at The Range (February 2015-March 2016)
Boston
● My main duties at the Range involved extensive admin, various levels of research and
basic cash handling. I also assisted on the shopfloor and in the stock warehouse.
● Other tasks included, but were not limited to: producing and checking reports,
inputting wages, emailing suppliers and clients, conducting trading standards checks,
and working alongside retail staff and to senior management to ensure a smooth

store operation.
Editor of SportsByte (June 2014-September 2014)
Sunderland
● SportsByte is the local sports news website in Sunderland, covering university,
amateur and professional sport. As editor, I was responsible for planning, overseeing
and coordinating the creation of sports content on the website and in the magazine. I
interviewed, wrote, subbed, sourced pictures and planned future content.
SportsByte Magazine Editor (July 2013-May 2014)
Sunderland
● SportsByte Magazine is the sports section of Spark Magazine, a student-led magazine.
The Magazine Editor role saw me planning, designing and producing content for a
bi-monthly magazine, as well as managing the substantial number of reporters.
MORE EXPERIENCE
I have had work experience on the sports desks of the Shields Gazette (May 2013), the
Grimsby Telegraph (November 2014) and the Lincolnshire Echo (March 2013 & summer
2013) where I voluntarily contributed articles to the newspapers and their websites.
These roles saw me interview a variety of people from different sports as well as
producing work to a deadline and to an expected high standard.
I have been a volunteer reporter and sub-editor for SportsByte, a student-led sports
website, and I have contributed match reports, match previews, features, photo, video,
live blogs and more. My work at SportsByte can be seen on my portfolio website

also among the finalists for the Reporter of the Year award.
UNIVERSITY
I completed my three-year Sports Journalism course at the University of Sunderland in
June 2014. As part of my course, I met and interviewed people from all walks of life.
Despite the focus, my course content was much more diverse than just sport; I studied
politics, news, newspaper production, media law and many other topics. For my final
university project, I produced a series of articles on the true local legacy of the London
2012 Olympics, interviewing 25 people at various levels of North East and national sport,
across a wide array of sports. I achieved a first for my final project.
