Jal Valez

I was born in Cabanatuan City in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. Drawings, crafts and artworks have always played a huge role in my life. Throughout my elementary and high school years, I always participated in a lot of art competitions where I bagged lots of certificates, awards and medals. The unfortunate times where I didn’t win also humbled me and taught me to never stop learning. My endeavors kept me going and reminded me to never stop pursuing my dreams whilst chasing my ultimate goal which is to become a renowned artist.

My first bachelor’s degree was BS in Computer Science. I took up BSCS in Wesleyan University - Philippines. Since my passion and heart was really close to arts, I decided to take another degree which is Tradigital Fine Arts in Adventist University of the Philippines, Silang Cavite.

I am nature-lover. For me, what the eyes can see in the surroundings can be an inspiration and motivation to express my artworks even better. I feel that they all bring something in the table that gives me fresh ideas to incorporate in my own perspective in arts.

I have hands-on experience in major design applications like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and strong experience of layout, design and photography.
