Jam Galang

I graduated at Holy Angel University with a degree of BS Accounting Technology. I pursued my study in System Plus College Foundation to with a degree of BS Accountancy so I can get the chance to take the Certified Public Accountant licensure examamination in the Philippines. By the month of May 2017 I took the test and fortunately pass the board exam. I had a bookkeeping experience in a private company as an on-the-job trainee being part of our college curriculum. Summer of 2017, I worked at Commission on Audit as a bookkeeper for about a month.  

I currently work at a business process outsourcing company, we outsource accounting process. I am in the industry for more than a year now. I manage the clients books, reconcile its banks, prepare its financial reports every month, send and create bills on behalf of the client, prepares client's payrolls and monitor client's accounts payable and accounts receivable. I am confident and exposed to a lot of accounting software like QBO, XERO, Gusto, Harper, Bill.com, Braintree, Freshbooks, Teamwork and others. I am confident in using Microsoft Office. I started working in this company without any idea how an outsourcing works and no idea regarding its software, but with hard work, focus, and training, I managed to get comfortable with this industry and its software for a short period of time. This experience made me perfect to the position as I am a fast learner and eager to acquire new skills and knowledge.
