Jan Louise Flaviano

Hi! My name is Jan Louise Flaviano, but you can also call me by my childhood nickname, "Catie". I'm from the Philippines and I am a mother of two. Outside of work, I love watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and I also play the guitar and sing. I've been working in the freelancing industry for about 2 years now.

I have 4 years of experience in full-cycle Recruiting and I have worked with top Fortune 500 Companies in the past. I helped process candidates' applications from onboarding to client job placement, facilitated behavioral interviews, screened resumes, and provided recommendations to Client Relationship Managers and worked hand in hand through the entire hiring process.

My areas of Recruiting expertise include:

• Sourcing candidates in job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Craigslist, and other social media platforms using boolean search strings
• Screening resumes of candidates to make sure their experience and background best fits the criteria of the client's position
• Facilitating pre-screen interviews, behavioral interviews, or virtual/in-person interviews with potential candidates
• Drafting summaries about potential hires and submitting it to upper management
• Outreach calls to potential candidates
• Overseeing the offer process
• Onboarding the candidates and setting them up for background checks and drug screens
• Posting jobs in career websites and formatting job posts to attract a good number of applicants for the position

I have excellent proficiency with LinkedIn, PCRecruit, Craigslist, Indeed, and Social Media Recruiting. I was also assigned to special projects for the Offers Process of high priority clients and handled end to end recruiting. I am also proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I consider myself as tech savvy and I always make sure to be up to date with the latest technology trends.

My native language is English and I'm also fluent in Filipino. I'm comfortable when it comes to communicating with customers, clients, colleagues and upper management. I am a team player and always makes sure to contribute the best to achieve a unified goal.
