Problem:
● The client had trouble reaching the college level demographic with their new mobile
app
Solution:
● I offered them a pay-per-performance deal : for every app download we received $x
● Heres what I did:
○ Joined 100s of college facebook groups
○ Built relationships with facbook group owners and offered 50% commission on
all downloads
○ Advertised in facebook groups
Results:
● $0 marketing dollars spent, 20k new app downloads in 2 months, & their highest
growth period to date
03 CASE STUDY: Product Launch Strategy & Execution (wav, inc)
Problem:
● The client recently finished the beta version of their iOS app and secured a small round
of funding. They needed a team to to launch their mobile application in CA college
campuses
Solution:
● I offered them a two month launch strategy that included web development, social
media management, press, launch party & video, and a nationwide brand ambassador
program
● I developed the entire launch strategy and executed the strategy with a team of 2
partners and 10 college interns we hired for the launch
Results:
● 10k new iOS app downloads, a new website, team of 10 college brand ambassadors,
10k new followers on Instagram, 1k new fans on Facebook, and a successful launch
party
