Jelena Perisic

I've been working as a freelance translator since 2011. I'm a native speaker of Serbian, a philologist ''by trade'', and my second languages are English and Swedish.
So far I've had experience with a variety of fields, such as:
catalogue translation, various advertising and promotional materials, interviews, manuals, high school and elementary school diplomas and certificates, university student logbooks, diplomas and various course certificates, as well as sound and video files transcriptions, court documents, employment records, letters and medical diagnoses.

Apart from being a translator, I'm also a visual artist/graphic designer, writer and a musician/singer.
When it comes to visual art, I work with both digital and traditional media and I love experimenting with different techniques, but my favorite ones are collage, photo-manipulation/digital compositing and digital painting.
I love experimenting with atmospheric/psychedelic minimalism and multilayered structures in music. When it comes to writing I love mixing poetry with prose, free-form and automatic writing and various wordplays, but of course I'm always open to more "conventional" forms as well, such as article/blog writing, creative writing, copywriting etc.
