I have a decade worth of experience in building, growing and managing business. My dominant experience is in agri-business through my own company that sourced, processed, packaged and distributed products from its in-house factory to retail, wholesale, restaurant, luxury and export avenues. My long history expands to creating opportunity for innovation, business development and sustainability in the spaces where I was active. I have a passion and drive to develop and implement projects that have a sustainability and impact base. My focus has been on the future of agriculture and food systems, the problems and challenges therein, and the solutions for more effective models. I have my finger on the pulse in terms of trends and shifting global focus in the agricultural industry and food systems. I have been part of business incubators and myself raised international investment for my own company.

I have extensive experience in writing business plans, research and evaluation, business analysis, market analysis, financial planning, marketing, strategy, SWOT analysis, customer identification, competitor analysis, designing sustainable businesses, financial projections, sales strategy, to mention a few.

My strengths lie in my abilities to be self-motivated, driven, milestone focused, output specific and innovative in my thinking as I strive to understand complex problems, and thus create new systems through evolved thinking. I endeavour to achieve harmonised success where value is spread across all links in the chain.

I have recently completed courses in 'Systems Thinking' as well as 'Sustainable Development' through the University of Copenhagen. My knowledge of sustainability incorporates an understanding of the UN's SDG's and their interconnected facets. I am also in the process of completing an introductory course on ‘Agroecology’ through Montpellier SupAgro, as well as ‘Sustainable Food Design using Systems Thinking’ through the University of Wageningen. I aim to integrate my decade of agri and food business experience with evolved global models to achieve sustainability objectives.
