My role was to oversee the Billing Department for these outpatient clinics and to be involved or assist in the
A-Z aspects of the billing workflow. Throughout my almost 4 years there, I reported to, at various times: the
Clinic Director, the President Therapy Specialists/VP of Ops, and company CPA.

Within a short time of being hired, was able to assist in negotiating .5% off monthly billing service
contract fee with 3rd party billing/software, representing about $20,000 in savings per year in Billing
Service fees.
Successfully negotiated lien PI cases with attorney offices that at times would result in $100-$120/visit
payment average.
Was able to deep-dive into the A/R and highlight key areas that needed more efficiency efforts from our
3rd party billing team that yielded more increased attention on our A/R.
Involved in negotiating payer contracts; for one work comp payer that resulted in a $30 -$35 increase per
initial visit with one W/Comp plan and $4/more per visit on follow-up visits.
I provide updated information to our administrative team and clinicians with specific payer-related
