Description:
ThomScan is a web and mobile base application, where the mobile application is for the users and the organizations of our university college and the web application for the administrators of organizations to see and manage the data within the application. The problem of joining an organization or attending one of their events is that it is time consuming, uses pen and paper, manual encoding and counting of attendees and cannot generate reports. The application focuses on QR codes where joining an organization will just require a member of an organization to scan the QR code of a student in order for the student to join. A student can acquire a QR code through their application upon registration. It can also be used for events when attending where assigned members of the organization will just scan the QR code of the student to confirm the attendance.
