I am an enthusiastic data scientist with 3+ years of experience in data analytics and machine learning, eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. On a personal level, I am detail-oriented, organized, and precise in my work. I am fluent in a number of

database and data analytics software, including R, Python, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

● In my current role as a Data Scientist at Semicolon Africa, I have been afforded the unique opportunity to lead a project focused on loan risk analysis and part of a team that built platform for forecasting of time series data which can be used for predicting future of sales, production etc. These projects have

greatly expanded my predictive analytics, statistical and applied machine learning capabilities. I am well skilled in applying design thinking and critical thinking in solving complex business problem through data

analytics.

● During my position with Factual Analytics, I worked extensively with statistical, machine learning and

data mining techniques to obtain insights and forecast production and sales from client’s data. I was

responsible for loading dataset, cleaning data, data pre-processing, carrying out EDA, using data visualization techniques to obtain relationship between variables, identifying outliers and building models.
