I am a retired High School Teacher. I worked for over 30 years in various High Schools in London UK.

I have since moved to Manila in the Philippines. I have since taken up writing since moving to Manilla. This has been novel writing, blogs and content work. on Medium.com. I have had an article published in the UK Guardian on the Typhoon Haiyan and the role of the barangays in providing support.

I have also produced content for individual companies. This has been with Upwork.

My teaching experience has given me transferable skills. I had to write extensive reports and lesson plans over the 30 years of teaching. Teaching has also given me the skill to pitch to an audience. To be aware of the needs and concerns of anyone I might be writing for.

Another teaching skill is delivering to deadlines. I usually write in the mornings and afternoons here in the Philippines.

I am English. I can write in either UK or US English. I am a native speaker. i always use Grammarly for checking for grammar, spelling and any punctuation errors. Being a US web site Grammarly automatically uses US spelling, idioms and phrases. I can usually deliver content by the next day. This maybe a bit longer if the project requires extensive research.
