Summary
Having pushed myself to achieve a first-class degree in English Literature, a subject for which I have held a lifelong enthusiasm, I turned my attention towards the skills and interests I can use to forge my future career. In January 2019 I graduated with an MSc International Marketing from King’s College London and decided to take a giant risk – moving to Thailand to work as a school teacher alongside freelance marketing. I made the move to gain valuable life-skills while working in an extremely challenging yet fulfilling role, and have continued to hone my marketing and copywriting skills on a freelance basis.

Hobbies & Interests
Sport – I believe that keeping fit is not only important, but also fun. I enjoy team sports and play regular club and university rugby, which requires good communication as well as a commitment to the team. I also enjoy several extreme sports, including skiing and mountain biking, which I have been able to participate in both at home and abroad.
Music – I have always been a lover of music, having played the guitar from a young age, and performing original songs in a band throughout my teens. I consider my music taste to be eclectic, but have a particularly fond relationship with alternative and rock music, which I now fill my spare time listening to, and writing about.
Travel – I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to travel to as many places as I have. Upon finishing my master’s degree I embarked on a 6 month backpacking trip around Asia, taking me all the way from the base of Mt. Everest in Nepal to the skyscrapers of Shanghai and temples of Japan.
Charity – It is always important to give something back, and help out those who aren’t as lucky. I have partaken in several charitable activities over the years, including the London to Brighton cycle ride, the Marsden March, and helping Croydon Council clean the streets following the riots of 2011.
