Josephine Dulipas

I am a Bachelor of Arts in English graduate at the University of Baguio. I had been a consistent academic scholar all through-out my stay in the university, was able to maintain an average not lower than 94% and by God’s grace, graduated as Magna Cum Laude. Consequently, on March 29, 2015, I took up my Licensure Examination for Teachers and was able to obtain the rate of 85.20%. Hence, I am also a Licensed Professional Teacher.

One of my greatest accomplishments as an alumnus from the aforementioned university is being able to contribute and impart my knowledge and skills through research. I was the leader of a multi-awarded group thesis entitled, “Cordilleran Cultural Practices Depicted on the Selected Literary Pieces” which was published on the University’s Student Research Journal. This research garnered the title, “Best Group in Thesis Category” during a departmental research competition. The award, “Bachelor of Arts in English Best Research” in our school-wide competition. Likewise, through presenting this thesis during the SOCED 2014, a research conference, I was able to garner the award as the Top Best Presenter among the 10 Best presenters of the said event.

I have experienced working in different fields. My first job was a Data Processor in the Human Resource Department of a private mining company. After which, I decided to venture out to other fields. I was hired in a BPO company. After pursuing my license, I worked in a public school as a substitute teacher. Thereafter, I also tried being an ESL Teacher and was able to have an experience teaching Korean and Chinese students.

I’m good in editing and grammar corrections as well. I have also a fast and accurate typing speed with an average of about 50-55 WPM.

Such experiences have made me truly internalized the essence of hard work, commitment and most importantly, passion or enthusiasm towards one’s work or responsibilities.

Moreover, I have honed my interpersonal and communication skills which are very vital in becoming an efficient and competent employee. I have adequate computer skills which I believe are viable in becoming a more employee.

I am hardworking, efficient, highly driven, and I am willing to undergo training to further my capabilities.
