First among local staff, participated in opening of the office and start-up of the Serbia Local
Government Reform Program financed by the US Agency for International Development, and
implemented by DAI. Worked on interviewing and hiring staff, coordinating the efforts of seven
Program teams in four offices, point of contact for 87 mayors, collecting performance monitoring
figures, writing semi-annual reports, maintaining relations with other key international donors,
organizing large scale events with participation of ministers and senior officials, representing the
Program at conferences, monitoring the quality of the Program and starting new initiatives based on
the needs of the local administrations.
