At the age of 20, I wanted to write a movie. I taught myself to write a full-length movie script in the correct format (it will pass the fan test). Failed pitches led me to turn to my creative writing and publish that script into a novel. I now have many more in the pipeline. On the side of all this, I have worked in sales positions, but mostly marketing and business development. I marketed various services and products across healthcare, fitness, insurance and health/wellness industries including skincare and telemedicine.

I gained the most diverse experience working as a Digital Media Strategist for a smaller marketing agency. I handled a variety of tasks ranging from audio editing/podcasting for clients to marketing their business through written and visual content across WordPress websites, blogs, social media and through other elements of design. Products and services are great, but the best teacher is experience. The second best teacher are clients. Engaging with clients and bringing authenticity and transparency to the table establishes trust—a virtue all too rare in 2018.
