Good day!

I am, Jyt Peter C. Villaflores, I have work in the private previously and currently in the government sector here in the Philippines. I was an accounting assistant when I was working in the private sector. And now as a Job Order personnel specifically an Information Technologist of the department in the Government Sector.

From being an accounting assistant, which requires compliance of reports that should be passed on-time. To being a government employee that needs dedication to contribute for my country by giving the best of my abilities in performing my tasks. As a government employee I am and I should be keen to details and I am 100% sure that I know what I am doing. Being a government employee, my duty stretches on break times which I might be approached by stakeholders on something that they need or want to know. Often times, the stakeholders might ask of something not part of the tasks that was given to you but I need to know about it sooner rather than later to help them. At first it is hard but through time I have adapted to the situation. Part of being a government employee is being flexible on doing the job. It helps a lot on making any organization runs smoother than having certain personnel doing the tasks on their own since there will come a time that personnel might be fully loaded and can’t handle other task like interaction with other member or a client. This is the time that having personnel that is flexible on doing tasks will be very helpful.

I just want to elaborate when I wrote on-time since it helps a lot on decision making. Having reports on-time means that the leader, managers or owners will have time to decide for what adjustment or changes are needed to be done.

As a person I also poses the eagerness to learn. Learning new things or widening my knowledge on things that will or might help me excel on the task/s. Having this kind of behavior always help me adapt much faster to become a solid asset. Also, I am a hardworking employee, I never stop until I am done. When there are tasks in front of me, I don’t complain and just do what I need to do.
