Kimberly Mae Reyes Aldana

I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and I am a Certified Public Accountant. I had more than three meaningful years of experience in public accounting of mainly Hedge Funds, Private Equities, Real Estates, Retail Businesses at EY-Philippines where I got promoted to Senior Assurance Associate. My second job was with Citco-Philippine as a Fund Accountant of mainly Hedge Funds and Private Equities. I worked at Citco for two and a half years. In both companies, I was able to prepare periodical financial reporting, audit and prepare cash, portfolio and capital reconciliations including accounting for income and expenses. I was also able to prepare financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles , such as US GAAP and IFRS, as well as financial statements with special purpose, such as in accordance with client's investors preference. Moreover, I was also able to prepare regulatory reporting reports for clients in both companies. Having said that, I believe that I’ve gained reliable and relevant experience in performing accounting and audit procedures using my analytical skills from understanding the business to detailed examination financial accounts, its movement and relationships, including identification of errors and/or fraud indicators. In addition, I have developed professional judgment and became an active team-player who can interact with peers and counterparts whilst working independently or as a part of a team. In addition, I was also able to supervise and train junior auditors/new staffs to enhance their audit/accounting-skill set and provide guidance to their overall career growth.
