A freelance tutor in biology Work at home November 2014 - Ongoing. I have been working as a private tutor in biology in three years now. By working with both pupils and students of different backgrounds and abilities, I’ve manage to learn how to be patient, attentive, detailoriented, creative and how to improvise. Some of the students I’ve taught were high school students and needed tutoring in elementary biology. Other students needed a more detailed and demanding course, as they were preparing themselves for Medical school. Thus far, I’ve had the opportunity to teach about the following areas: cytology; bacteria and viruses; algae; fungi; lichens; anatomy and morphology of plants; gymnospermae and angiospermae plants. 2. During my time here I worked as a mystery shopper, which means that my main task was to evaluate the quality of the serviced provided by certain departments of the companies GfK worked with. My main responsibilities included talking to people who worked there, asking them for guidance and information about certain products and procedures, as well as writing detailed reports about how the employees did their job. The variety of these departments was vast, as it ranged from grocery stores to banks. 3.
