My experience as a pharmacist included educating each patient about the drug that was being dispensed as well as answering questions about the makeup of over the counter medications, reviewing patient’s medical profile and transcribing doctor’s order.

I am skilled at multitasking and am flexible in arranging my work priorities. I know that working in an institutional setting requires team effort that demands flexibility in order to successfully exchange information about drug treatment with patients and caregivers in an environment where many people are facing personal crisis. For this reason, I know that my background as pharmacist including patient counseling, staff training, transcribing doctor’s order while providing clinical and technical information to patients, nurses, and physicians regarding contents, utilization, therapeutic actions, adverse reactions, or drug interactions is suited for your needs.

 I have encountered and overcome challenges with inventory, controlled substance inventory, record management, and physician order review and patient counseling. I have always persevered to streamline, organize and refine day-to-day functions for accuracy, quality, compliance and patient satisfaction. I recognize personality, presentation, professionalism and a true caring interest in patients are critical to the long-term success of a pharmacist. These integral strengths are the standards that I consistently have embraced during my career and are just one reason I would be a true asset to your company. I always consider the entire patient, their medical history, and medications as a collective picture. Several of my colleagues have referred to me as being a very thorough and detail-oriented pharmacist. My ability to work well with a variety of coworkers and adapt quickly to change allowed me to be successful in such a dynamic position. Due to my previous pharmacy experience, I am a very compassionate, caring person, and I would be honored to serve patients and providers for your company.
