Laura Vegh

I have a PhD in Computer Science and work in research and academics. I have published several academic articles in international magazines (mostly IEEE) and will soon publish my own book compiling my research results.
I am also a reviewer for various academic IEEE conferences and for some journals. Most of my articles can be found on ieeexplore.ieee.org. As a teaching assistant at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, I also helped write project and research proposals. I have also helped translate several courses from Romanian to English and/or vice-versa. I wrote the materials for the laboratories I teach.

Outside of academics I also write blog posts for www.eugdprcompliant.com, a website I helped create (I wrote most content on the website, including the knowledge base).
As a freelancer I also write travel articles (ghost writing mostly). I can write on a wide variety of subjects. I am a quick learner and researcher. I pay attention to copyrights, making sure any resources I use are purely for inspiration and none of the content I write is copied.

Finally, I work as a freelance translator for Sfera Studios, where I translate English subtitles to Romanian. I've been working with Sfera Studios for over a year now. Together with the translations for university, I have a translation experience of 4 years. For writing, academic and non-academic alike, I have a 6 years experience.
