Before entering the world of languages, graphic design was my first passion, occupation, and academic major. Although I changed my career and academic path to the field of languages and linguistics, I have constantly kept myself involved with graphic design as a second career, since I enjoy it tremendously. Due to the nature of my career, I have been mainly in contact with business companies and corporates for which I have provided design services.

I am a seasoned, high-level Persian <> English interpreter and translator, a Russian > English/Persian translator, and an instructor of English for general, specific, and academic purposes.

I hold a B.A. degree in Graphics as well as a B.A. and M.A. degree in Translation Studies; I am currently working on my doctoral degree focused on Linguistics. My formal educational background has, undoubtedly, enriched me with professional and research skills; however, my demonstrated history of working in the language industry has played a more substantial role in my career success.
