Lovey Pale

I have been freelancing since 2009, started this when it was still web and graphic design respectively :) Done it all, from corporate branding, and designing the odd poster for a local band or DJ, to designing decals for a fleet of lorries for a big logistics company.

Worked with NGOs, music record labels, small and medium enterprises of all sorts. I have amassed a trove of knowledge about the impact of visual design in all business touch points. I have been contracted to a tech start-up from the USA since march 2018, my functions are those of a web developer and am very proud of landing the role.

Writing is another specialty of mine and I have written several articles on various aspects of freelancing and UX/UI design as a discipline. Working remotely has enabled me to work with fantastic people from regions such as the Czech Republic, USA, Tanzania and India. I have never backed down from a challenge and learning is something of an obsession for me, a quality I have come to hold above all.

I thrive in situations where my intellect and skills are challenged, the more complex and demanding the solution, the more engaged I become. I am a tech junkie with a technical background as an electronics technician who used to design circuit schematics, this has proved very valuable to me as a UX/UI designer. Writing technical instructions or explaining them to none-technically oriented people comes easy to me.

I prefer the LAMP stack and the Ubuntu OS for coding and everything else. I am currently learning React and to add to my asernal of front-End dev languages.
