I have been working as a customer service representative both for voice and non-voice account. For both accounts, I handle general inquiries for books and journals, claims, orders, tracking of shipments, data entry, account creation, invoicing, handling returned orders, cancellation of orders, etc. Part of my responsibilities are to enter payments to the orders, and make sure that the prices matched. Since our company is into publishing, we also get in contact with the publishing editors for authors submitting their manuscript. Some of the responsibilities assigned to me is to do a quality check on the work done by my junior colleagues, advise them if their work needs to be corrected. For new hires, I also train them with the most basic task we handle. I also send reports to my superior every end of the shift.
At work, we use a lot of applications. We usually work with SAP - Systeme, Anwendungen, Produkte, in German, and Systems, Applications and Products in English. We also use Microsoft office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel File, PowerPoint, Notepad, and OneNote. I am also familiar with Microsoft Publisher. We also use browsers like Mozilla, Chrome and Internet Explorer for our company’s website. We also use UPS’, DHL’s and Amazon’s website. For invoicing purposes, we use Adobe PDF creator.
When it comes to my work, I am an organized person, detail-oriented, focused, and a fast learner. I can work independently with less supervision and can multi-task. I am a type of person who tries to find an answer to the problem before escalating them to my superiors.
Working for almost five years as a customer service representative, I was awarded as the best employee of the quarter. I was also given a chance to have a leadership training and completed it last 2015.
I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in nursing last 2010. In March 2017, I finished my continuing professional education course major in biological sciences. Also, I was trained professionally under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority for Travel Services NC II with certificate of completion.
During my past time, I love searching the internet, watching movies, and reading a lot of novels. Some of the things I love to do are mind games like puzzles, word search, Sudoku, etc. These are ways for me to unwind and relieve myself from stress. As an outdoor exercise, I play softball with my coach in high school before with his high school students.
