As my first job in the Business process outsourcing industry, I was hired and worked for 6 years in Sykes Asia Cebu. I worked as a Technical Support Specialist. We provide technical support assistance to our customers who are having trouble with their DSL and DIAL-UP connections. We also take care of their DSL and Dial-up hardware configuration, NIC (Network Interface Card) installation, ADSL modem/router installation and configuration. We even help them with their Personal Computer network configuration, it can be laptops or desktops and even android phones. We often encounter Windows ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista ,7 and 8 Operating System Apple (Mac OS 9 and OSX) network configuration and OS setup. After that job I transferred over to Teletech. There we Provide technical support for customers who are having trouble with Digital Cable TV Connection. From setting up the physical connection up to setting up the Digital Cable Box also setting up their TVs to match with their remotes. We also Accept and process Bill Payment for our customers. I worked there for 6 months, after that I moved over to JP Morgan Chase & Co. as a Telephone Banker. My duties there was to provide our customers the status of their account, go thru with their debit card transactions, like what they have purchase , when the merchant charged their cards, where it has been charged, also assist them with their online transactions or in checking their accounts over the phone. Also assisting them in checking the account using their Android & Iphones and thru their computer. So as to explain to them regarding where the transaction was made or other details on that said transaction. We also process over the phone in sending them replacement debit cards, closing debit cards specially for those lost cards. We also do unlock their cards if it has been locked due to wrong pin. We can also send them bank statements if ever they haven’t received their statements. So as we can process stop payments if ever their checks have been stolen or lost. Or if ever they won’t allow the transaction to go thru. I worked there for 2 years. After that, I worked at Jose Rizal Memorial State University Main Campus in Dapitan City Zamboanga del Norte as a Part-Time Computer Instructor. I teach college students regarding the basic of computer. Like its history, Typing Introduction to web base programming, servicing PCs, like assembling & disassembling PCs, knowing each of its parts, instructing them how to use different Windows OS and also different Microsoft Office applications. And now, Im working as a customer service representative/technical support / billing in Phil-Am Outsourcing Solutions Inc. in Mandaue , Cebu City. We provide Technical assistance so as answer queries of our customer & takes care of their bill regarding their internet service. The company is one of the internet provider in Australia. We assist customer over the phone.
