Activities
In addition to my professional experience, I have also been on the secretariat of the National Model United Nations conference for the previous four years, serving in the role of Director. NMUN is the largest and most prolific international Model United Nations organization of it’s kind and annually hosts it’s NMUN-New York Conference, an annual College-level Model United Nations that welcomes over 4000 students to the United Nations. My work with NMUN primarily involves the editing and proofreading of Background Guides: substantive documents that outline the activities of real UN committees on the given topic. This has allowed me to gain significant experience in careful editing, both for substance and grammar, on topics that can be very detailed, unfamiliar, and dense.
