My last commission was as an Admissions Counselor for a private university, post I held for four years. My responsibility was to follow up through phone calls, emails and chats, on leads generated through social media and/or school visits. It was my responsibility to determine if there was a good fit between prospect and university and help the prospect in all admissions and financial aid processes. I was able to reach 94% of my required goal per term, generating a U$1MM in revenue for the institution.

I was also responsible for following up on the Admissions Counselors for the post-graduate programs, having to generate and prepare reports of their activity. Served as a coach to help the sales force increase their motivation towards accomplishing their goals.

Previously I was in charged of the Accounts Receivable at another educational institution, post I held for 3 years. As well as in my last job, this post included a lot of customer service and B2C interaction. I was responsible of inputting all data in the accounting system, generate statements for all students in campus, sell automatic debit service, charge the personal credit cards for the services rendered, provide reports of current situation and for upper management updates. I was able to implement a system to generate statements to the students and through follow up I was able to bring down the outstanding accounts from 30 to 0%, from a yearly revenue of U$3MM.

I have always been reviewed highly as a customer service representative, answering the customers questions and concerns and accomplishing the company’s goals through these interactions. I have learned that the all is in the attitude behind the words.
