As a recent engineering graduate, I have acquired several IT skills such as C++, Python, Simulation Arena,
Siemens NX, Auto-Cad, and App development. Due to my UK Degree in Industrial Systems Engineering, I
have also gained valuable soft skills such as project management, business development, and Mechanical
Engineering. Moreover, last April I had completed my PMP qualifying course which enhanced my way of
thinking about enterprises’ workflows, leadership, and management. On the other hand, living and working
in a few countries, such as Hong Kong, India, Vietnam, and currently Malaysia, not only allowed me to
interact with different working markets but to also gain superior communication skills and a solid ability to
adapt and overcome complicated situations. Throughout my short career, I have contributed to positive
business outcomes through effective organization, prioritization, and completion of key organizational
projects.
I currently work for an IT company in Malaysia, and our main client and project is the highest class global
software company in the world. In my training period, I earned the highest grade in the certification
program. In my first three months after training, I have shown excellent job performance in both technical
and management fields. Additionally, I have curated over ten proposals to my leads to improve the workflow
and employee productivity. For instance, I have noticed a reduction of the utilization data of the employees
so I manifested a solution by implementing a small program to audit the handle time data from the original
tool rather than the global tool. In the meantime, reporting to the tech support center about the coordinates
and circumstances of the issue. I have also proposed a solution to minimize the tardiness practice by
employees and encourage them to clock in on time by adding their adherence to the monthly scorecard.
While I am independently motivated, I appreciate collective efforts and productive collaboration within
group settings. Moreover, I am confident in reporting and finding creative problem solutions that comply
with our client’s policies. Furthermore, my critical thinking, problem-solving, and motivation attributes
serve to support continued organizational efforts.
Working as a teacher previously has shown its qualities on my interpersonal and analytical skills in my current
role. It was a vital factor in how coherently I present my ideas and proposals to my current managers. It was
also beneficial in how I analyze the data and extract what is only important for the workflow and gather
these data into one report that will be used to target and improve a viral workflow issue. Observing the
students' daily progress and writing weekly notes to their parents has ironically pushed me to excel in my
spreadsheet skills to filter their data and send automated emails about their progress.
Without a doubt, I have always been enthusiastic about project management. In 2014 I had led a charity project
in India as we were striving to fund the project to launch as many health camps as we can and raise the
number of our students as well. I successfully managed to use my social network there to conduct several
meetings with fundraisers from governmental institutions and private stakeholders. As a result, in a span of
one month, we were able to fundraise the charity to raise the number of students up to 50 (previously 11) and
two health camps. consequently, I had completed my PMP qualifying course which has taught me the
principles of how to manage the scope, cost, timing, and quality of the project, at all times focused on project
success as defined by project stakeholders and how to utilize technology tools for communication,
collaboration, information management, and decision support.
Finally, I believe the best quality of this job is the ability to create new opportunities in the digital learning field
as it opens up inspiring prospects in a wide range of career development opportunities that will certainly
benefit me in my future. To illustrate the scope of my career history and professional competencies.
Sincerely,
Mostafa Abdelaal
